This is not new to you anymore since I've been talking about this place over and over again in my previous posts. But for the benefit of new readers (Yeeees!), I'm so crazy about Maginhawa Street -- a sanctuary for hungry stomachs. I fell in love with it since the time I ate at Gayuma. And of course, succeeding food trips happened after that.
For the love of burgers, I opted to try The BRGR Project this time. When my brother was still here in the Philippines, he said that it's his favorite burger parlor so I had to try and judge it for myself.
THE ORDERS:
French Fries (Php 60)
PINO Brewed Iced Tea (Php 35)
Italian Stallion Angus Beef (Php 220)
The Sloppiest Joe Angus Beef (Php 235)THE "WHAT I LIKES":
What's unique about this burger parlor is that you have the freedom to choose on how you want your burger to be. Thus the menu checklist above. You can choose from different varieties of buns, patties, cheese and other ingredients you want to put in your burger. Side dishes included.
If you're not confident on what to put in your burger, you might want to have their ready made burgers instead. Or you can refer to the menu posted on their wall (picture above) and alter or remove the ingredients you don't want. Cool huh?
Their Italian Stallion was a delight for my taste buds! It's my first time to try a burger that used mozzarella as their cheese. And I liked it very much! Minus the green leafy part. :)
But this won my heart. The Sloppiest Joe was everything I wanted in a burger. Chili con carne, bacons, caramelized onions, tomatoes topped with the special BRGR project sauce. It was one satisfying meal for me that I instantly fell in love with it! Plus the servings are big that I did not feel bad spending over 200 bucks for a burger. It really filled my tummy up.
THE "WHAT I DON'Ts":
Well I guess the picture above explains it all. Haha!
Tip: USE YOUR UTENSILS! =)
And of course, location wise, it's not so accessible to where I live but I can assure you that the distance is all worth it for The BRGR Project. And I'd definitely come back to try those in their menu. I'm also considering to make my own personalized burger next time. ;)
The BRGR Project is located at 122 Maginhawa St. Teachers Village, QC.
Para kay CL, sa mga litrato, sa hatid-sundo, sa walang sawang pagsama sa akin, at para sa barok mong Tagalog. Well I just hope you understand this. Haha! =)
