FOODGASM

It was a double celebration for Justin and Camille, a day before Valentine's Day. And I was really really looking forward to this day for weeks now. I just couldn't hide my excitement the whole week.

Feb. 13 came. That was a Monday, Jeric's car was on color coding so we had to use mine. The call time was supposed to be at 4:30 but because I lack sleep I decided to have a quick nap before leaving the house, unfortunately, I overslept and no thanks to the weather, I almost made love with my bed. At 5pm, this is what greeted me.

Was this Yakimix all over again? UGH.

Good thing, Buffet 101's staff was understanding enough to adjust our reservation at 7pm.

Forgive me for the pictures are not really arranged. I blame the restaurant's way of organizing their food. It was all mixed up that it really got me confused. But anyways, what matters most is the taste and how you manage to eat the food served, wisely. :)

APPETIZERS:
The Spicy Cheese Beef Tortillos are my favorite! It was the perfect combination that it immediately gained my taste buds' approval. =">
They have a Korean section that contains Kimchi, Bulgogi and the likes. And being a non-conformist "K-pop" fan, I decided to pass on this one. Okay there's no connection between them and the food but no offense meant to Kpop fans though. I respect you. =">
I felt bad for I was not able to try their grilled squid. I wonder what tastes better, this one or that of Gerry's Grille. That has always been my favorite.
And of course, different kinds of salad were present on the buffet. You have the liberty to make your own may it be a vegetable salad, Caesar salad, fresh fruit salad or however you want your salad to be. Plus salad dressings of your choice are also available. You can try and experiment what you want to put in you salad bowl or plate for that matter.

MAIN COURSE:

I was not able to take good photographs of the whole buffet table, thus explaining a few shots of the main course. But basically, it gave justice to its title as an International Buffet -- American, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Mexican, Chinese and a whole lot more were covered by the buffet. It was such a shame that I wasn't able to try everything!
If I am not mistaken, this table is meant for seafoods. It was Camille's favorite section of all she kept on coming back for more. I don't blame her. All of it are fresh and have a unique twist such as these prawns on a stick soaked on salt (?) and camaron rebosado with a twist plus the cheesy tomato mushrooms on the other plate which is one of my favorite btw. :)

The carving and grilling station became our favorite tambayan a variety of steaks were present there. US Prime Ribs, Baby Back Ribs, Angus Tenderloin, Striploin and a whole lot more. It surely was a mouth-watering experience. And these boys could testify to that. =))

Don't they look so gay cute? =">

DESSERTS

The four of us will agree that this have to be our "asylum". It's our comfort zone. It's our favorite It was so good that we eat these in between the main courses. That's how sweet toothed the four of us are!

Chocolate mousse and the tiramisu were my favorite cakes for that night. And did I mention that Buffet 101 is in partnership with Red Ribbon with their cakes? Now you're really assured that the cakes are of good quality and taste.

Their ice cream station is nothing but ordinary, just like the other buffets that I've tried. But nonetheless, it's as good as what the others offer. I just have to say that their gummy bears are not so gummy at all. Hahaha!
Personally, I did not really went gaga for their crepes. Maybe because it tasted like egg yolks. And fyi, I despise the taste of egg yolks. Ew.

ON THE PLATE

If the pictures made you hungry, I apologize. It's also hard for me to recall my experience with Buffet 101 without being enticed with these. Basically, these are what we had during our dinner.
Steaks with gravy sauce
Appetizers to start of the meal and tenderloin strip on the side
Caesar salad and shrimps

Dessert plate
Tempura, Sushi, Crispy pata, Steak, Spicy tortillos, fried fish fillet
Soup
Seafood platter
Baked oysters, tempura, seafoods

Crepe, Mango Cheescake, Chocolate mousse and chocolate dipped marshmallow. Mmmm.

And oh, fresh fruit shakes are also available here. I personally recommend their Pineapple Fruit Shake! One of ze best. =">

Was I able to convince you that the food here is good? Here are the rates and contact numbers. Enjoy! :)

To Jeric Fortuna, for our sleepless night, the never ending StraMa paper and sabaw moments at 4 in the morning, we finally got the break we deserve! =">
And thank you, for shaving your irritating balbas. Haha!

To Justin Francisco, I'm happy for you because finally, you are happy too. ="> You deserve to be where you are right now. And you know what I mean by this! :)
Happy Birthday! <3

To Camille Limon, for the troubles we've gone through, the times we covered each others' lies (Haha!) and for the unending frienship, Thank you!
Happy Birthday too! <3

To us, for the friendship, the buffets, the roadtrips and the movies we've watched.
I will never forget you. This won't be the last. And when Jeric Fortuna, becomes a famous PBA player, we'd definitely indulge ourselves in buffet dinners everyday. Hahaha! =))

Did I bore you with my long post? Sorry! =">
