Today, I don’t really feel like writing anything down (literally). I was too hung-over from last night’s Republiq gimmick with my self proclaimed “half-siblings”— JT and Rory. Together with their cousins from Australia and our good ol’ friend DJ we partied like a VIP. Seated on the couch, drank Black Label, Patron and other alcoholic beverages that I cannot seem to pronounce or even read for that matter.
We all had fun drinking, dancing and chatting with my half sibling’s cousin who seem to have a “twang” accent. JT was guffawing hard while I try to imitate her cousins’ weird accent. It was fun and difficult though. Challenging too!
At 3AM, we decided to part ways with their cousin since JT indulged herself with too much liquor that we had to drag her out from the club. We went straight to the parking lot and decided to flew off the scene. Oh! Did I mention that Daniel Matsunaga’s Montero Sport was parked beside ours? He’s cute and hot btw. Not to mention super nice and kind. *giggles*
It’s either I was too sleepy or tipsy that I cannot recall that we reached San Pedro exit on our way home. It was one insane road trip! JT was too drunk that we have to park on shoulder just for her to vomit her lungs out. The funny part is that she fell from the car seat! Ha! Luckily she did not get any bruises or wounds but she got so filthy! (Okay somebody’s gonna kill me now!)
Finally at 4 AM, I was home. When I woke up I remembered that I still need to go to the store. Boo! Even though I was too lazy to get up, I have to. Just because I don’t have a choice! Oh well.
Before going to my “work” I took a quick brunch with my mom at the nearest carinderia and ate binagoongan and adobo. What a way to celebrate mothers’ day, yes? We didn’t bother to have a nice celebration since we already had an Italian dinner at the store last night. Made especially by our chefs. Boy I was so full! Anyways, it slipped into my mind that it was a special occasion, so in the middle of a conversation, I cut her out and blurted out “Happy Mothers’ Day pala, mom!” She did not feel all giddy about it but I know that she felt appreciated. And so did I.
I am currently writing this lengthy blog just because I’ve got time to kill here at the store since Banawe is like a ghost town. WALANG TAO! NAKAKABATO! Haha!
Everything put aside, this day should be dedicated to all the mothers who sacrificed almost all their life looking out for us. Cheers to our moms! Happy Mother’s Day!
