I'm happy for you. :)

I guess it's pretty obvious that you make me happy. Pretty much ecstatic at times. I've never been in this feeling since I can't even remember when.

I relearned to love the butterflies in my tummy feeling again. I embraced the late night heart racing conversations with you. I got used to the good morning and good night texts once again. I honestly believed that this could be it.

No matter how hard I try to hold back the feelings, I just can't. And yes, you caught me off guard. It's never really my thing to talk about feelings and stuff especially if it involves us in it. But somewhere in between, I was sure that what we have (or had) was real.

I was happy, and for the first time, I found myself smiling again. :)

It was normal Saturday afternoon in your village. You said you wanted to talk privately so we hang out at the playground. It was a long awkward silence. And I knew something was wrong. Slowly, raindrops fell. We were both ready to run back at your house but it was too late. We both decide to play under the rain. We were laughing again. Teasing and chasing each other like 5 year olds.

I stared at you for a moment, I looked into your eyes and I can tell he wasn't happy.

"What we have, it's special, right?" I asked. And even if I wasn't ready for the answer, I am hoping and praying to God that I get the answer I want.

"Of course.."

Then you pulled me closer and hugged me tighter. You gave me a peck on the cheek and looked at me again

"But what we have did not make me love her less."

I was not sure if it was the rain or my tears were falling endlessly. I couldn't tell. All I know was that it was one of the most painful experiences ever.

I wanted to slap you on the face and beg on my knees to choose me instead. I wanted to get mad at you but I didn't.

"I'm happy for you.."

And that ended our story.

High School Never Ends..

Last night was just a reminder that High School is something I will never ever forget. I maybe a bitch to most of the girls in the class and was the main target of the bullies in our section but nevertheless, I will never ever forget my memories I had in High School and how easier things were back then.

I was really surprised and overwhelmed to see almost everybody at Eryll's grad party at Lobster King in Seaside. It was unexpected that a lot would show up. Maybe because it was libre. Haha! But nonetheless, we owe a lot to Eryll and her parents for making this a success. It was like a High School reunion rather than her grad party.
Years ago, most of us only drank water, juices and milk. But now, 4 years older and already mature, we learned how to loosen up and consume alcoholic drinks without any guilt or worries that our parents might scold us.
It was High School all over again. The ever competitive section I grew up with is still the same today. Nothing really had changed. Well, a few inches taller and of course, added make-up on is just some of the minor changes most of us went through. It was not really a surprise to me but I was really ecstatic to see them all different. And I meant that in a good way.

To Eryll Samot, thank you for this opportunity!

To my beloved section, Respect Batch 2008, these are memories worth keeping and remembering. I love you to bits!

And of course, to my BFFs, Fae and Kim for completing the night. Rose and Micah, you are missed!

And as the saying goes "High School never ends". And it never will in my heart. I love you guys to bits!

Graduation Hangover

UST will forever be in my heart. This is where I basically grew up. This is where I gained companions, alliances and rivals. Relationships established, hearts broken and memories made. I thank UST for what I've become now.
And of course, I owe everything to my mom and my kuyas. They are my inspirations. Too bad the other brother is some place else, but nevertheless, I share this glorious moment of my life to these people. I love them to bits. They are my inspiration and my drive towards success. :)

Childhood Memoirs

If you're pretty much a long time reader of my blog, you'd probably guessed that I love everything about the South. Born and raised in Manila, Tagaytay is the most accessible relaxation place for me and I never get tired of it.

Two weeks ago, together with my mom and brother, we checked in at Chateau Royale, just minutes away from Tagaytay. Unfortunately, I wasn't really able to enjoy our stay at this luxurious hotel and resort because I was having a bad headache that day and no thanks to cough and colds, it made my stay there miserable. :(

On our way to Tagaytay, I've been asking my brother this question over and over again "San tayo kakain?" it's not a secret that I love food, and that has been my constant question whenever I go some place else.

So are you ready to know where we ate? Haha!

Well, it's not something new to me anymore since I grew up loving this restaurant. My last memory of it was when I was still around 5 years old and it was memorable just because, the waiter unintentionally dropped the palayok of Sinigang on my dad's back. He was really really furious back then. But they made up for it so no worries. :)

The Mutya ng Cavite soup (Php 320) didn't change a bit the first time I tasted it. It's pretty much a bolabaise soup with a much thicker and creamier feel in your mouth with a generous amount of seafood in it.
My personal choice is this baked mussels (Php 240). I love everything with cheese that's why I couldn't resist finishing the whole plate all to myself. Though I kind of feel bad for my mom and kuya for they weren't able to have a single bite on these babies right here.
It's topped with melted cheese baked to perfection that brought satisfaction to my raging taste buds. (FYI, I was on PMS that moment too)
Their Lechon Kawali (Php 295) is not so much of a favorite. It was not bad but it's just that it tasted normal and was not at all crispy.
Plus the fact that my cholesterol level reached its peak because of this killer fats right here.
My brother's personal favorite was this Tortang Alimango (Php 190). I wasn't really expecting it to look like this. I was kind of eyeing for something with shells but it turned out that the restaurant prepared this for our convenience.
Two words: ZE BEST! It was the best ever tasting tortang alimango I tasted my whole life!

So have you guessed what restaurant is this? Keep on reading! :)

Sorry for my mom's haggard face. Actually we all are tired from the trip. Hahaha

That's me being a pig right there. #apologies

For dessert, my mom and kuya shared on this buko salad. (Php 90)

While I enjoyed my Bluberry Cheescake (Php 90)
The moon was perfect that night. It shone brightly and it felt so near.

Dining in here brought back childhood memories. No doubt, I will always love this place and I'll never get tired driving for two hours just to revive the past.

Yes, Jospehine. You hold a special place in my heart. :)

MAHIRAP. Pero kailangan. MASAKIT. Pero yun ang nararapat. Salamat UST AT MAHAL NA MAHAL KITA! =")

Dear You,

Look, I didn't mean to intercept on your plans. It was never my intention to mess things up. I'm not in the position to ask something of you or demand anything from you. But all I wanted was company. And ditching me for a night out with friends in your parents' house was waaaay out of control.

Thank you for letting me have a place to crash, but what I don't appreciate is you leaving me all alone. What were you thinking? Sure, you asked, but really? What do you expect me to answer. I know this might sound stupid but it was a test. But I guess, you're too insensitive to know that, huh?

Sorry if you felt obligated to look after me. But this is ME, asking YOU a favor that you agreed to do. I might regret for writing this, but what the hell. I've gone through a load of shit stuff right now and I can't afford to let this one pass. So I'm sorry. If ever you read this, I'm probably fine by then. So thank you.

P.S. I'm eating this Toblerone you left on your table. I DESERVE IT.

Random Thought 033

I was never fat. I was just insecure. It was never really about the weight or the food but it's how I look. I was never contented. It was never enough.
