Random Thought 024

Starting today, I will not curse in Tagalog anymore and will try very hard to avoid all kinds of swearing, cursing and any forms of bad words. Jeric, Empe and Jung are witnesses to this promises.

Am I the only one who has days when they feel so neglected, rejected, emotional, unpretty and negative? #depressing

Happy Fiesta! :)

Brace yourselves. DON'T LAUGH.

Look what I found! =">

This is me. Well, 4 years ago. I look so stressed-free, happy, young and well, SLIM.

I saw this in Lang's yearbook when I went to their AMAZING GORGEOUS mansion last Fiesta.
Together with a couple of my High School friends, we went all the way to Tondo just to celebrate the feast of Sto. Nino. :)
With Mon. :)

I must say that the Simbulans know how to throw a party like a boss. Good food. Good entertainment. Good company. What more can I ask for? :)
And of course, exchange of stories and not to mention, gossips and rumors about our schoolmates back in High School was the main concern for this mini-reunion. I really had fun catching up with these guys.
It was one hilarious lunch date. Grabe. I realized how much I miss being in High School. But to top it off, I miss the company of my section. 4 RESPECT.

Reminiscing our jejemon days was the most fun part of the reunion. It was too funny that none of us would really admit that once in our life, we too became jejemons. EW. We were able to rekindle past fires and broken relationships through exchange of endless chismisan. And not to mention juicy stories about other people. And by juicy, I MEAN REALLY REALLY JUICY. :)
Let's do this again soon! Yes? This time, let's exchange more kwentos and chismis. :)

To Lang, for letting us squat in your beautiful crib. :)

To Fae, Elaine, Nikki and Meg, for supplementing my almost demented ear from juicy gossips. If you know what I mean. :)

Photo Blog Series: Neo Centennial Celebration - FRIENDS

For the last installment of my Photo Blog Series, I gave this post the title "FRIENDS"
Sam, I and Edu raising our candles while singing the Abba Medley for the 40K voices.
My favorite was the Quadri song. I really felt it within my heart and I'm sure Sam was feeling the same way too.
Don't get me wrong. Sam isn't the fifth wheel. But Edu was. :)

The three of us were very emotional that night because we felt that the final goodbyes are near.
And even Jan Pasion kept on asking me "Last year na ba talaga natin to? Di pa din ako makapaniwala."
Sam really made me happy that night, she let loose of herself and was screaming, dancing and singing -- the things she doesn't normally do.

Thank God for four hundred and one years of this institution. And thank you God more for friends like them.

Dejavu?

If you're a veteran reader of my blog, you probably know know that I'm not so much of a planner.

Little did I know that my friends suck at planning too.

I was just ABOUT to meet them at GH to check the Awesome Planner and maybe have dinner somewhere cheap then hitch a ride home. But Jeric and Ron are nothing but surprises.

The three of us were arguing on where to eat. And since we are all on a diet we chose not to eat at Sizzling Pepper Steak. All of a sudden, Jeric suggested Sambokojin. Ron willingly submitted to the offer. I was a little hesitant because 1) I've been on a diet for two weeks now. 2) I LACK THE CAPACITY TO PAY FOR A PRICEY BUFFET DINNER.

But after a series of life lessons and words of wisdom from the two boys, I gave in. Yes. It included things like "San ba tayo natututo? Edi sa pagkakamali.." and there were those that went like "Pagtanda natin, ikekwento natin sa mga anak natin na nung dati isang araw, sinundo ako nila Jeric sa GH tapos nag-Sambokojin kami, gawin mo yun anak ha.." But my favorite part was "Minsan ka lang naman maghihirap! After two weeks, babangon ka naman ulit.."

Come on! Who could not give in to sweet words like that? SHT.

Everything happened so fast. The next thing I know, Jeric and I were sitting on the same spot, the same venue and he was wearing the same shirt the last time we were here. What made me smile even more was when the waiter greeted us with a "Welcome back" rather than the usual greeting they do with everybody else. Yes. He was the exact waiter who was with us on Jeric's birthday celebration last year. The only thing that changed was that there's a Ron Javier dining in with us.

There was nothing new on my plate since I already know what to get and what to eat, given that it's my third time to eat here.

I was really really trying hard not to eat rice but the waiter insisted that this was our favorite so I can't do anything but to eat this sinful carbs right here. Yep. Two weeks of hard work down the drain. :(

Shrimps are my favorite! The only problem is that I don't like peeling its skin off because 1) I don't know how to do it by myself. 2) Nakakatamad.
Thank God for Fortuna, for he was patient enough to do the dirty job for me. He became my personal shrimp peeler ever since I discovered that he has a talent and patience for this kind of work. :)
To Ron Javier, even though you bullied my high school alma mater, I still had fun laughing at your jokes and your "HOP" stories. :)

To Jeric, for not only peeling the skin off my shrimp, but for also subsidizing my meal and dropping me home safe and sound. Haha! :p

Indeed a very good way to start February!
