THE SECOND WAVE

Today, I turn 21. My emotions were in a rollercoaster. My bipolar syndrome dominated me today. At the start of my day, my professor scolded me just because I was too noisy. Then everything got better towards the end of the class. At lunchtime, my classmate pulled a prank on me and hid my cellphone which really got me irritated, and walked out from them.

A few minutes after I got home I received a text from a friend which says "Labas ka. Pahiram ako ng tsinelas." I was in shock when I saw my classmates holding a birthday cake and singing Happy Birthday. I literally cried! Maybe because I felt bad that I walked out from them earlier.

Thank you guys! I appreciated it a lot! Sorry for being a brat a while ago! :))

hi boys!
I attended the 5pm mass earlier and thanked God for a very fruitful and wonderful 21 years. :)) I don't know why, but i suddenly cried while praying and thanking God. Told you my emotion is in a roller coaster!

As a tradition, I celebrated my birthday with the family at Barabara's in Intramuros. It was my first time to eat there and i was amazed by its interiors and the ambiance of the restaurant. The food was okay. Not bad. But not super delish.

It was a Buffet dinner but with only 6 main courses offered. It's kinda pricey for a buffet but what the heck. My birthday comes once a year!

But what really made my night different was when students from University of Manila started performing the different cultural dances of the country. Very patriotic, don't you think? It's worth the money after all since I don't usually witness this kind of performance everyday. Far from the modern dances I know. :)

They were so energetic and lively that I, myself got a little giddy and happy I was dancing on my seat. At the end of the performance an old lady, called out all the birthday celebrants and I was surprised that I was one of them. I got a little shy and at the same time I felt special. It got me really kilig when the cute performer approached me and held my hand. ;p

I had my picture taken with the cultural dancers. I have a little crush on the guy on my right. He's really cute and got the moves. :)

I may not say this very often, but the truth is I love these guys to bits. And I know that at the end of the day, when everybody walks out in my life, they will surely stay by my side.:)

I love my dress. Hahaha! :)

Happy 21st Birthday to me! :)))

THE FIRST WAVE

AT LAST, after a long time I was able to see these people again!

Thank God for BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS, we got the chance to be reunited again. Danna and I have been planning this birthday dinner for almost a month and I can't believe that it pushed through despite our busy and conflicting schedules. And I love them for freeing their schedules and spending this night with us. :)

The birthday girls

Danna's birthday falls on Aug. 22 and mine is on the 23rd so we decided to shoulder the damage just for this mini reunion to push through. It's all worth it. I had fun. :)

A night of Italian food, reminiscing and catching up surely made all of us ecstatic. Btw, meet my girlfriends' boyfriends.

Trevis and Aina

Jeremy and Nie

Danna and Jerfy

Vet and Jerick

And because Rae's boyfriend was not able to join us because of his dad's birthday. We're the two single girls that night. But still, I want to share to you their photo. :)

Rae, EJ and their baby.
YES. I am the only single girl in the group but at least I know I am never alone because of these people. I love them to bits! <3

SIKSIK FACE! :)

What even made my day better was when two of the persons I look up to greeted me on Twitter! :)))

Bianca Gonzalez

Rafael Rosell
How sweet can this day be, right? :)) This is gonna be a long week! :))

Thank you Lord!
Today, as I was heading home with my friend Justin we bumped into three kids at the corner of Dapitan and P. Noval. They were in pink uniform which made me guess that they are students of P. Gomez, a public school located near the area.

The girl in the middle approached me and said "Ate, may 7 pesos po ba kayo? Nawala po kasi ung  pamasahe namin e. Pasensya na po." I don't usually give money to the less fortunate but there's something in these kids that made me believe they're telling the truth. I even asked Justin to take a photo of them just to share this heart-warming experience.

I don't know what was with me during those times. It must be the pre-birthday jitters but whatever you call it, i felt the satisfaction and self-fulfillment within me. Today, I am happy. :)

Something unusual.

As you all know, the past week has been so cruel to me and to almost the whole Thomasian community. A week of no sleep. No gimmicks. No Internet. No Facebook and no Twitter. Well, the last three aren't so applicable at all.

Personally, I am one of those students who felt massacred and harassed by the exams that happened last week. Plus this week's agony of seeing your not so good grades made me feel more depressed than ever. This has been the lowest I've scored in my last 4 years in College. And I got to admit, I'm a bit nervous. I don't know where this will lead me. But I am pretty sure that what I need to do is to double the effort and allot more time in studying the lessons.

What added to my yet stressful test results is the pressure of preparing for our GA to be held this coming Friday. A 4-day preparation is not healthy and convenient for me and for the class. You can hear voices toning up and down and everybody exchanging pathetic reasons trying to defend each others side. (No offense made here.)

But today was different. I owned this day. It was me all along. :)) It all started during dismissal. As a routine, the class headed straight to Dapitan to have our lunch. As we walk along the sidewalk of St. Raymund's Building, amidst the hard pouring rain, I saw Clark Bautista from afar. I was caught off guard and didn't know how to control my kilig. Well, it's too late. He noticed me and said Hi. OMG. DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN? HAHA! I can't even believe it too! I was always the first one to say hi to him or approach him. But this time, it was different. It must be the rain. :))

What happened next was when I saw my other crush who happened to be one batch lower than me, at the same place where we were practicing for the GA. Gaaaahd. I couldn't help myself but to steal glances! My blockmates even notice it. Sorry na. Pwede? :)))

The good vibes continued until the end of the day when Justin Francisco, Jeric Fortuna, Sam Tungul and I watched Crazy, Stupid Love. A movie for those who doesn't care about relationships and committments and to those who are in the verge of giving up. One thing I learned from this movie is to fight for yourself and never get tired of finding your one true love. It's a movie not for gentlemen like Jeric and Justin who obviously wasn't that satisfied with the movie. Jeric and I even had a mini debate while the movie was playing. That crazy little bastard.

After wathcing the movie, we decided to have an Eat-All-You-Can Dinner at Chef D Angelo priced at 150 per plate. Unlimited pasta, pizza, salad and soup served hot and fresh. Laughs, stories and a lot of bull session went on completed my oh-so-happy day.

Today was epic. I am happy. :))

Jackstone Night

At Monday night, my cousin and I were hoping and praying that classes be suspended the next day. Just because we were too idle to go to school and yes, I didn't study for my Marketing Management exams. :))

I woke up at 6:10, Tuesday and found out that there are still no suspension of classes. My cellphone bombarded by texts from classmates and friends asking if there are still classes. Well, talk about luck, the announcement was released just after I got out from the cold shower. Boo!

Yes, it was one boring day. Nothing to do but to eat, sleep and watch TV with my cousin. So out of boredom we decided to refresh our childhood memories and play... JACKSTONES. :)))

It's been a long time since I last played Jackstones that's why I needed a crash course on this just to recall the rules and regulations of the game.

A few minutes after... VOILA.. I ruled the game once again!

This was supposed to be a candid shot, but it turned out to be like this. Talk about vanity.

It was one fun night! :)) Class suspensions should be this fun. :))
